from $10.00
Infusing all of my Natural products with the amazing energy of crystals!
Handmade PMS Support is an excellent support synergetic tincture that contains Black Cohosh, lemon Balm, Motherwort, Red Clover, St John’s wort, and Yellow Dock.
All herbs I use are organic and locally grown, wildcrafted, or purchased from sustainable sources.
Traditional herbalist/Folk lore uses:
Black cohosh - (Actaea racemosa) historically used to help relieve menstrual cramps and menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes, irritability, mood swings, and sleep disturbances.
Lemon balm-There's research to suggest that Lemon balm can be used to relieve menstrual cramps and premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Lemon balm has been long used in homeopathic medicine and has the potential to improve mood, menstrual irregularities, indigestion, and cramping, supporting your PMS struggles. Lemon balm contains mildly sedative compounds shown to reduce stress and restlessness, making for a better night's sleep.
Motherwort is used to help soothe menstrual cramps, reduce bloating, premenstrual tension and discomfort. (Motherwort is the go-to herb in Eastern medicine for strengthening and slowing the heart meridian system-Excellent heart health supplement).
Red Clover (trifolium pretense) is used for its relaxing effects. It also can relieve menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes. Modern scientific tests have shown that Red Clover contains isoflavones, plant-based chemicals that produce estrogen-like effects in the body, which may help in several conditions associated with menopause, such as hot flashes.
St John’s Wort- Research suggests that St. John's wort may help relieve physical and emotional symptoms of PMS in some women, including cramps, irritability, food cravings, and breast tenderness. One study reported a 50% reduction in symptom severity.(Contraindicated with any anti anxiety medications)
Yellow dock has been used extensively to resolve issues associated with menstruation. It is a traditional remedy for menstrual pain and heavy bleeding.
Consider adding a quality B-complex, known to help reduce menstrual cramps.
Contraindicated with Warfarin and anti-anxiety medication.
Please note that all bodies may respond to herbs a bit differently and your individual constitution may be different!
IMPORTANT-If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or on any medications, always consult your primary physician before beginning any new herbal products*
